Great flash. Very powerful flash

I have tried many other flashes from Revain, Best Buy. Stopped using it after seeing and using a friend's 600. This 685 series is an excellent flash memory system. Works quite well on my Sony A7ii. Batteries eat up, so buy rechargeable ones.

Great flash for Sony cameras

The flash works great with my Sony a68. TTL metering is perfect, zoom and focus work as intended. In my opinion the best flash offer for Sony Alpha cameras so far. I would definitely buy again!

Stop working after one year

Godox Thinklite TTL HSS TT685S High Speed 1/8000s GN60 Camera Flash for Sony DSLR Cameras stopped working after one year. Searching the web for troubleshooting has brought up many questions about the same issue. The quality of the light itself is fantastic; However, the lifespan of the item is not acceptable.

Good flash but color temperature is off

Overall a great flash but with one fatal flaw - the color temperature jumps to 7000K which is MUCH colder/bluer than any true professional flash (usually around 5600K). The declared color temperature is 5600K, which is not true. So I would have known about this problem before I bought it. You may need to use flash modification gels.

The best flash for Sony

I like how bright and accurate the light is. This particular one also allows me to use it to control others while using lights on camera, or even use it JUST AS A CONTROLLER (I thought it was cool), or use one of Godox's triggers to turn off a camera light. The possibilities are endless. GSS always works. The initial setup of the entire WiFi network is not as easy as I think due to the alternative menu buttons. But my only downside to this light is the cycle time. Yes, it does take some cycleโ€ฆ

I'm seriously impressed, curious as to why the leg isn't filled with lightning.

Received my flash today and shot an unboxing and first impression video on my Legacy Studio Reviews YouTube channel. I am impressed! The build quality is very impressive and it feels like a $500 Blitz. The ONLY thing I noticed is that looking at the hot shoe leg it's not a plastic clip but 4 different tiny legs that I seriously wonder how easily they'll break if dropped or get hit hard. Other than that, I've been totally focused on this Flash and very excited to learn more about it! Check outโ€ฆ
