📸 Godox V1-S Round Head Camera Flash Speedlite Flash: Enhance Sony DSLR Camera Photography Review

The best camera flash for my Sony! I love it. It is easy to use and provides the best lighting for indoor and outdoor night photography.

It's only been a month but I'm still amazed by this flash. It seems that TTL works well, there is enough power and the battery life is not bad. Build quality is good (previously switched from Metz and used Olympus and Canon flashes).

Great flash but extra battery too expensive. Is $79 real? It's like Godox is practically forcing me to buy a second flash just to justify buying a $79 battery. But I have to say this is the perfect flash and a lot cheaper than buying an original manufacturer flash.

What a great flash! I'm a wedding photographer and wanted something with faster loading times and the ability to add quick mods. This flash does its job and makes a lot of light! I use it with the modifiers that Godox makes, so I'd suggest taking those as well.

The Godox VS-1 is very similar to the Profoto A-1. However, it differs in one main category, price. There simply isn't a better option in the round head flash category. I use it both open and in the middle octobox. The mere fact that it is a genuine USED modeling light sets it far apart from all competitors in its class.

I've been struggling for the perfect flash for a long time and here it is! It works when the built in flash fires up to 1/8000 second and has a built in transmitter to control another flash like the ad200 pro. You can also use it as an off camera flash and then you will need a compatible Godox trigger, I use the x2T-S on my A7iii. You will love it.

I'm a real estate photographer and this flash lasts almost a week and I shoot 5-6 houses a day. Over 400 flashes at full power. Ideal for outdoor photos when the sun is directly behind the property. I also really like the latch closure at the top. Very easy to use and powerful flash. I've stopped paying $20 every 2-3 days for batteries for my last flash for the last 3 years and that alone is worth it!

We used this at our first wedding reception and it was amazing! It was easy to use and allowed me to get some amazing shots in very low light! I have since used it at another wedding and interior shoot and have never been disappointed. I was a little hesitant to use the built in flash but it changes my photos for the better. Love the round head and the ability to add attachments so easily for a quick setup. I used it on my Sony a7iii! The perfect partnership! LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
