Works great in my PowerBook G4.

I replaced an old 4200RPM hard drive with this and a 64GB microSD card in my late 2005 15" PowerBook G4 laptop. Mac OS X Leopard booted from the SD card immediately after cloning the hard drive to it.

Pros
  • Memory card adapter
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

32GB limit for computers and accessories

There were multiple versions of the same adapter. This will never work with a 500gif card, they are designed to use a card up to 32 gigabytes, anything above that is a withered thumbnail or just won't work. I'm using 32 gig SanDisk cards.

Pros
  • Memory card accessories
Cons
  • Minor issues

I became a fan of SSDs and wanted to convert them to one, but IDE-based SSDs are either rare or expensive, and some of them are terrible. After watching LGR on YouTube for a long time and seeing how it uses alternative storage media, I thought this approach was the best. After this arrived I installed a 32GB Micro Center SDHC card and…

CyberJank 2077: Junk Strikes Back

There's no doubt about that. This adapter is real garbage. I had an absolutely miserable time with it and spent the whole day and then evening relentlessly trying every avenue I could think of to get this to work, but to no avail in the end. Sound like a horrible experience? It was! Ready to see my anger about this? Then let's continue! I couldn't get this thing to work with all the turkeys in Turkey. I needed it as a replacement hard drive for a 14 year old laptop that I had attached as a…
