Received a photo editing order. While cutting your own matte boards might be fun for some people, I just didn't like the process so I opted for pre-cut boards. They came with backboards and sheets for later storage. Some class manufacturers bought their own boards and it cost them more or less the same. If you don't have much time or want to cut your own boards. , It is a good choice!

Exactly what I expected! I was looking for a way to display my Disney lithographs that were free with a DVD purchase. I had the vision to decorate the cinema hall with it for 17 years. Today it came true and looks fabulous. Using mats with plastic covers means I don't have to worry about glass in a room full of rowdy kids. It's very easy to stick my photos on passe-partouts, documents and plastic envelopes. Arrived well packaged. I'm thrilled with the end result.

I bought a pack of 10 and 2 packs of 25. The corners are a little crumpled, but it's not critical. The hole is a little big for my photos, which is fine as they aren't fully 11x14. The 25 pack is a lighter white and the cardboard backing looks like cardboard that is not archival (brown, not quite white so it had acid in it) which really worries me as it is advertised as archival. After a trip to Iceland I bought some 16x20 White Gold State Art wooden photo frames to display some of my photos. I decided I wanted them to be matte. The hardest part of the process was aligning the photos with the hole - I printed on 13" x 19" paper, not 16" x 20". So I had to mark the back to make sure the paper was lined up correctly.
