Delicious camping food!

Great hiking food. Tasty and full of great veggies. It seems that some pieces are not fully hydrated. Maybe it's the altitude?

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Reliable

Very satisfying. good for Camp Kitchen

Big dinner for two. Very filling and the addition of chicken or other protein makes it a really light and long lasting dish. Pleasantly spicy but not spicy.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Ok most of the time, but...

Good taste but expensive for what you get

Taste was good - would buy again - but not enough after a hard day on the trail. Next time I would use a little more water to hydrate it and serve it with couscous and also make sure I have protein. There are some arguably heartier vegetarian options from Backpacker's Pantry and Outdoor Herbivore that cost less per serving.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No performance

I love the convenience of this product

I love the convenience of this product. The taste is damn good for a dry food set. I love that you can reheat food in the packaging it comes in so you don't have to worry about finding a large enough bowl to cook it. The portion size is also sufficient. Very happy with this product. I often visit hotels on the go so I book a room with a microwave so I don't have to go out to eat.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Functionality

Good taste. a little crunchy if you follow the directions.

Taste was great. I wanted to like it. Follow directions to T. But fully dehydrated food was elusive (a bit crunchy). When you want it to come out, fill the bag with water, let it sit for 20 minutes, then turn the stove back on for 5 minutes and boil. No, I wasn't great. Yes, it was a hit. Would be a great and complete meal with instant brown rice (no rice).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
