I was expecting the camera not to fit very tightly in the case but surprisingly it held the camera well while wakeboarding.

Bought this for my husband as we just got him a new GoPro Hero 8 Black. He takes it every time he goes out on his boat so a float was a must! He really likes this float and says it doesn't interfere when taking videos or photos.

The float is much larger than expected. But he's obviously doing his job. Do not connect the selfie stick to the GoPro while using the float, it will sink. Buy a floating selfie stick instead if you want to use the selfie stick. It's quite difficult to click the screen while hovering. The float isn't foam, it's some kind of hard plastic.

I wanted to take a video of my sons surfing with my new GoPro Hero Black 8 camera but was afraid of putting the camera in the water to lose water. Ocean. The Floaty fits easily but securely onto the camera and keeps the camera on the water surface by itself. The bright orange color is easy to spot in the ocean if you lose it. Once the float is in place, you can still attach it to other items like a suction cup mount or swim grip for added protection.
