Great videos and features but let down by camera overheating every 15-20 minutes. The battery lasts 40 minutes with 1080p recording.

Worked great until it started intermittently overexposing the video. I also saw this in Hero 8. Very disappointed that two generations later this is still an issue. Some GoPros seem to work great while others struggle.

Camera gets overheating error and turns off after 10-15 minutes of recording. The only workaround at the moment is to record for 5 minutes and then turn it off and let it cool. And turn it on again, record 5 minutes and turn it off to let it cool down.

Still no preview on your smartphone while recording video? Any GoPro from 3 Black to 8 was capable of this. WHY DID YOU REMOVE IT? I sold 9 and thought it would be solved in 10 but it wasn't! I'm giving this back until GoPro decides to please the customer, not the investors!

GoPro 10 for 2 days. GoPro overheats after 10-15 minutes when recording at 5.3k 30fps. The device turns off and then on again after a while. Footage is good, but the lack of overheating and missed opportunities is annoying. Hopefully this gets fixed with an update or I'll wait for a return. At $500 for a 15 minute recorder, it's not worth it.

I just got my HERO10 Black and the out of the box performance is way better than my HERO9 Black which I love. The touchscreen is very responsive and easy to navigate, and I really like the quality of the screenshots from my 4K recording. I know it can go up to 5.3K, but most of the time I'm at 4K/30 or 4K/60, which also improves battery life in the field. The lens also looks different and stayed dry in the pool as soon as it came out of the water. Not sure if it's the same as HERO9 but seems…
