Description of Gore Tenara M1000HTR WH5 HTR White

Gore Tenara sewing thread stands up to years of sun and weather for seams that will last the lifetime of your product. An "improved circular cross-section" that provides a smoother and more uniform appearance. An increased twist level, which should reduce breaks. This thread is unaffected by sunlight. UV radiation will not weaken or degraded. Tenara will outlast the fabric.

A Thread That Adds a Special Touch

I am always searching for the perfect thread to add to my Arts and Crafts projects. Through trial and error, I found that this thread works amazingly well with my Stamping and Scrapbooking projects. The Gore Tenara M1000HTR WH5 HTR White thread is incredibly strong, doesn't fade or break, and adds a special touch to my creations. My only con is that it is a bit pricey compared to other threads on the market. Despite the cost, I highly recommend this thread to anyone looking to add some…

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to being made from high-quality materials.
Cons
  • Color may yellow over time due to exposure to sunlight.

Damn good thread! on Thread & Floss

Heavy material. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to work with a sewing machine, even a commercial one. It seems to need some lubrication for it to flow through the needle. Otherwise damn good stuff, although we won't know for sure for 10 years.

Pros
  • Tenara outlasts fabric.
Cons
  • Expensive

Disappointing investment

I bought this thread to sew Sunbrella material onto my boat. I read the thread product sheet and bought a manufacturer recommended #20 needle. When the canvas shop tried to use yarn, it kept getting tangled and making a big mess. A lot of time has been spent adjusting the thread tension but to no avail. Long story short, I spent a lot of money on expensive thread, a recommended needle, and it didn't work. The canvas shop was willing to try anything to make this stuff work, but they were short…

Pros
  • Increased twist rate which should reduce breakage.
Cons
  • Does not work
