The smaller block is decent enough if you can take a weed eater buzzing in your ear. The big device is pretty much useless. I've had this system for over a year now and it really is a trimmer that you get what you pay for. For $20-$30 a real hair clipper is very boring. I spend about the same amount of time cutting my hair as I do setting up the clippers. I have to constantly loosen or tighten the tension screw to get the blades to oscillate.
