I bought my daughter for her 16th birthday. She loves it. She used all disposables. She lit a fire for us with this kit. She helped start the kindling with this kit. Good compact survival kit, my favorite items were the fire starter, knife, pen and spoon/fork, most items look like they are good quality and will be very useful, the fire starter is it very big and easy to use and the pen is heavy and durable and will be my new pen for everyday use. We like to spend a lot of time offline camping so I will be using this kkit site during the upcoming summer camping season.

The mechanism appears to be of great quality and not cheap and flimsy like other things out there. I'm a storm chaser and this will definitely stay in my car forever!
