I have ordered this item twice. The first time the iPhone grip started rattling and loosening. The grip released my phone multiple times and eventually the impact caused over $200 worth of damage to my iPhone's screen. I was about to miss hitting the kid and put my bike down and I figured that would cause my mount to become unstable. I replaced the bracket only to have similar issues. There is a ledge where the hex nut is. You can't tighten the bracket, so your phone will rattle and bounce.

DO NOT rely solely on the tension of this clip to hold your phone to a bike or motorcycle. I noticed that my phone no longer vibrates on a motorcycle (Kawasaki Ninja 500). Also note how short the 4 "fingers" are on this phone clip. They are not deep at all, so you'd better have a VERY flat phone case if you want to use that. If you're willing to either take your phone out of the case or use a thin silicone case, this is a really good phone holder. The finger angle is just right for my iPhone X and can work with thicker phones. They give you sticky finger gum that works great but I don't know how long the gum will last.
