The sequins on the shorts made a huge mess when washed. Tons of sequins came off the shorts and spilled the whole washer and the rest of the clothes in the wash. The shorts had to be thrown away after the first wear and wash as the sequins were a mess all over. I recommend shorts but NOT a shiny option.

Unless you want to ruin other clothes and don't want to wash the glitter off every surface at the laundromat, don't buy them! So disappointed! We've had a lot of shiny dance shorts and never had this problem. All sequins came loose on FIRST (cold) wash and stuck to other garments - some permanently. Bought for my 6 year old granddaughter who I was told is very tall for her age but also very thin so I went for a size 7/8 and they fit her perfectly with little room to grow in each respect. Already used in gym class and very happy, she said they don't pull her bum up (so no plucking), the color is right AND loves how shiny they are, very comfortable for a very picky kid with stitching and material. Very happy with the purchase and plan to buy again

My daughter fit well BUT washed them for the first time - cold water, gentle cycle - and the shiny finish on half of the shorts (literally just one leg) was gone (and now all over my washing machine). Maybe a fabric quality control issue? I think you get what you pay for.

I bought them for my daughter for gymnastics! Super sweet! I'm a size 120 and it definitely fits like a 5t. She is 42 inches and about 40 pounds.

Our daughter is 8 years old and a little small for her age but I still went for size 8-10 and they still fit her perfectly. She has some room to grow in it, but they don't slide or cling to her at all. She wears them over a leotard. I will be ordering more for her in larger sizes when she grows up, they are great quality, look great and wash well.

These shorts are cute and fit well. They're not as big as they seem. They are low cut. The shine is nice and holds up well with washing.

These shirts are great for my daughter (who has a 6 year old butt). She wore them as part of her Halloween superhero costume and walked around comfortably in them all night. They catch the light and give off the spark she loved. Highly recommended!

My daughter wears these shorts for dancing and acrobatics. They fit as expected and don't ride up or down when she moves. They have a nice wide waistband that is flattering. We have tried other brands of shorts but this brand has both red and black because they fit well, stay in place and look good.

These shorts are too, too, too skinny, short and TUG. My granddaughter (9) is stick skinny and these things gave her the worst camel toe ever (sorry for the vulgarity but it has to be said). They shine, which is what I wanted, but unfortunately that's the only thing I liked about them. They can't fit the girl in any way, they look like they would barely fit on the baby's diapers. I would never allow my granddaughter to wear these."

Bought for my 3 year old, she normally wears a 3T but is growing to 4T and 3/4T fit great. Haven't washed it yet but the fabric feels thick.

We ordered the right size and they were too small. I thought they looked amazing but she didn't even like them enough to try them on. But I told her to try them on anyway and they were too small. She refused to wear them.

The pants arrived well packaged and clean. They say it's small, but in fact it turned out to be big for my Lo. Loses shine after washing! The price is not expensive, but because of the material, the price should be lower!

My daughter wears 4T-5T and size 120 (5-6) is too big for her. It usually fits a size 120 in other parts, but these shorts are wide in the legs and fall to the waist. She probably won't be able to wear them for another year or more. I would order one size smaller.

First we took a size and it was too small, we went up a size and it was too big. I had to hem the back to fit. The material is really good for its price!
