I was concerned about how loose it was on the bulb but I ended up removing it and installing the adapter and metal bracket in the headlight bracket as in the pictures and it fits perfectly. Just put the LED in and that's it. Excellent purchase

This was a recommended option from other buyers and Amazon so I decided to try it. They don't work properly or fit as clips for the LED bulbs I bought. I've tried everything to get it working. I even trimmed them to wrap after nothing else worked and that certainly didn't hold them in place. The packaging even says not to return it if it doesn't work.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is a manufacturing issue. It would be nice if the adapter snapped onto the lamp socket. Trying to fit, align and properly assemble the two pieces was quite a challenge. But most of the blame lies with VW, who makes fun of the headlight change. The recommended method of replacing the headlights is to remove the front bumper and grille assembly. Thus, all additional difficulties are multiplied. The metal ones are also very soft and malleable, so with a pair of pliers and a change in design (hack - *cough*) - they might eventually work. Bought these adapters for additional car 2017 Mercedes C-300 Sdn 4 matic factory headlights with low intensity. Anyway, I bought these adapters to install H-7 Hi Intense LED bulbs. Smart little clips. You just have to position them correctly with the new bulb. I found it easier to attach them and secure the screw heads in the headlight housing and this holds the adapters in place without moving. They were so thin and cheap that they could bend when installed with an LED bulb. I thought maybe I wasn't careful enough on the first one, so I was extra careful on the second one and the same thing happened. with thicker material and then I sent shipping information and they stopped responding to my emails.
