The perfect hairbrush for almost any horse. On a BLACK or DARK coated horse, the Cavalier is the 3rd stage of the 5 stage brush. On a brown or chestnut coat, the cavalier is again the 3rd step brush for the 5 step brush. For horses with WHITE or GRAY coats, I recommend using the HAAS Lipizzaner in phase 3.

My favorite comb now. When I'm in a hurry, the only way I can manage it is to get a "fit" brush for college. However, I have to use a mud brush to remove the caked dirt. More expensive than other brushes, but excellent quality and versatile (I especially like the "click").

I ride two sensitive thoroughbreds who don't enjoy grooming yet. However, they seem to like to wallow in the mud, which has been a problem for me so far. Step into that brush and it's the new dirt fighter, Haas New Generation Curry. As the first two steps in my newly updated self care kit, I was able to break through stuck mud and dried sweat yesterday and no one complained. Definitely worth the money. Now I'm officially a Haas convert.
