Bought to replace worn out Birkenstock Boston Shearlings when I couldn't find my size. I've read they run small so I ordered a size up and they fit perfectly - 42 equals my Birk 41. There is currently no room for socks but they are not needed as they are very warm. I think I'll wear socks when the lining gets compact enough over time.
