This product is falsely advertised. The advertisement clearly says thermal videos and shows a thermal pad. There is no thermal pad. These are ordinary plastic grip wheels.

I ordered these reels because they showed a metal insert. When they arrived they were all plastic. Wanted metal so I could use them as heating rollers

This item was listed as THERMAL but was not. It clearly says "Aluminum transfers heat to hair" but there is no aluminum. Beware!

Thermo function - rapid heating of the inner material that can overheat the hair. For me, the whole point of using velcro curlers is to gently dry my fragile hair. This defeats the purpose.

Needed a big curler for my long fine slightly wavy hair. I wanted to create a look that was as straight and smooth as possible, with gentle curves at the ends of the hair.
