Dude, that's a great belt. Extremely thick. I would think it will last a long time. Unfortunately I had to send mine back as it was too big. I would ignore the sizing recommendation (buy larger than you actually are) and just buy the size you normally wear.

I love these straps. They are REAL leather and REAL thickness. Extremely durable. They will likely last a lifetime if not abused. Really good for cops and other officers who have a lot of stuff on their belts. You also look very good. Make sure you measure your waist inside the belt loops of the pants you normally wear. This measurement will give you the correct length to order these belts.

Excellent belts, wear very well. High quality leather, does not wrinkle or roll. very durable. Since I lost weight, I ordered 2 new belts. The same quality of leather, but the stitching on the black belt was of lower quality than before. A few threads sticking out, very ugly.

As advertised. High quality belt. Fits as expected, wear pants 34, size chart shows order belt 36. I'm in hole 3 out of 7. More incentive to shed a few pounds! I bought this belt 3 years ago today and it still looks the same. I usually buy an indestructible belt elsewhere that lasts a year at most. That would tighten the belt. This belt has kept its shape. I can wear it to the job site or dress up as it always looks good. This is by far the best belt I've ever bought. I wanted to get another one, but I'm not sure if I need it
