Recommended size too small for my 7 year old. He is of average height and weight. I should point out that it's the length that's short. The body came up, but the length wasn't enough. We used it for a summer tie dye project so I didn't go back as my son said he didn't mind. But if I buy them again I will increase the size from the recommended size.

I bought these shirts for my hoarse son. They looked ok when they arrived but I always wash my clothes before I wear them. I washed them alone in cold water and tumble dried on the lowest setting on a delicates but they shrunk into doll clothes! I was going to pack them for our upcoming trip in a few days but now I've just wasted my money and he has no shirts! SO DISTURB!

They all shrunk significantly after many washes. Pretty much our smallest ended up with all discounts. Good news for her, but bad news for her brothers and cousins. With the exception of shrinkage, all shirts held up very well. Got a size or two bigger than I usually order.
