Definitely runs large. The straight cut jeans are the same size as the sweatpants I ordered, but are significantly smaller. There is no elastic at the waist so they are not supportive and are gathered at the bottom due to the extra length. Very soft and comfortable, although larger than expected. I'm an adult female, 4'10" and about 90 pounds. Normally a size 14 for kids fits me, so I got the X-Large. I couldn't just wear them as baggy sweatshirts. I'm the size then Taken large and the length and fit are perfect, size XL fits snugly (although the length isn't perfect anymore, but the elastic at the ankle keeps them from dragging).
