👧 Hanes Girls' Jersey Shorts for Little Girls - Clothing for Girls Review

I like the shorts my daughters wear under dresses so her panties don't show through. But they are too loose and her panties are showing underneath. I'm back and I'm still buying "biking shorts" from target.

These are good shorts but they are really big. The size is large, like a women's 5. They would have been great for my daughter's volleyball shorts but we ordered twice and they were still too big for her. She carries girls 8-10 but the average size was still too big for her.

It says basketball shirts, but they are far from basketball shorts, they are short shorts, they are nice and thick, and the belt is very nice and thick, they fit in the size, but they're more like shorts that girls would wear under skirts or dresses, not over basketball shorts!

That's not what I meant and the size is too big. I bought a size 7/8 for my 7 year old daughter and they are too big for her. They are also great for my slim 10 year old. I assume they will shrink. There are more loose-fitting activewear than skinny biker underwear shorts.

I have a small 8 year old who needs volleyball shorts. She weighs around 50 pounds but usually wears shorts and cropped pants quite comfortably. After reading reviews saying they are big, I bought the XS shorts for volleyball games. They fit almost perfectly. They are snug fitting all over, just like volleyball shorts should be, except there is some room at the bottom of the legs, but nothing too flashy or weird. They are perfect for what we need for volleyball games. small or very thin child

Although these shorts appear to be good value for money, the size chart is completely wrong. I referred to this when purchasing for my daughters and measured both to ensure I ordered the correct size. When they arrived they were much larger than the size chart. This is a general size chart, not related to any specific product. Both of my daughters have a 27 inch waist, but a large (maybe even medium) would be a much better choice. These shorts wouldn't even fit on my girls.

Bought these for my daughter to wear under her premium uniform dress. She's on the spectrum and isn't too great with tight clothes at the moment either, and she's now shedding the biker shorts that were meant to be worn under skirts and dresses that she used to wear with ease. That's great, but as for the other commenters, I can see how regular shorts can be considered short, especially if your child has long legs.
