I bought this shirt to replace a worn out high version. Unfortunately, Hanes has stopped releasing large sizes. This is the only one that worked for me. The sleeves of this shirt are too short compared to the plus size. I think I should have bought more large shirt sizes than they were available.

Reviews that say they're too small might be missing the point of these thermals. Wearing them under your shirt, their slim fit is perfect for this purpose as it minimizes the feeling of tightness from over wearing. If you only want to wear them as a top then you should go for the heavy type as it is a medium weight type.

Fits much better than the similar Fruit of the Loom brand. The large is ideal as a tank top for a man who normally wears an oversized t-shirt (meaning it's a little tight but not skin tight - at least you need a tank top in my opinion). Pretty good quality. There are no complaints about the price.

In general the material is a bit thinner than I expected but it doesn't bother. However, the average size is on the very small side. Too tight to hold the beautiful shirt.

I was expecting a thicker fabric. I had an old one with a thicker waffle weave. This is very thin and transparent. I bought it because the softness of the fabric and the comfort against the skin are very pleasant. I would not wear this shirt in public. I sleep in it. It has loose seams and every time I wash it more loose threads appear around the sleeves and bottom edge of the shirt.

I usually only buy Hanes products because I've always liked their fit; Hanes has to downplay their quality when they state a size that normally fits and this results in an uncomfortable fit for a product that should otherwise be comfortable. I cannot rate this product more than good. Dissatisfied. I'm sorry you disappointed me, Hans.

I bought this unit 6 years ago and just bought another one. This is a good shirt for those winter days when you get home and can't warm up. It's lightweight but gives you extra warmth and didn't restrict movement before. I still have my old shirt and am wearing it over this one. The sleeves are shorter, which I like.
