Description of Dr. Eddie's Happy Cappy Shampoo for Children, Medicated Treatment for Dandruff and Seborrheic Dermatitis, Fragrance-Free, Relieves Flakes and Redness on Sensitive Scalps and Skin, No Need for Cradle Cap Brush, 8 oz

Dr. Eddie’s Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo and Body Wash, known as "A Pediatrician’s Solution," fights flaking, redness, itching, scaling, and irritation on the scalp and skin for children of all ages. These bothersome symptoms are known as dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. 1 in 3 children under the age of 5 are affected by this condition. Many people refer to seborrheic dermatitis as “cradle cap.” Pediatricians regularly recommend adult dandruff shampoos for this condition because they contain an active ingredient to control seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. Until now there was no children’s seborrheic dermatitis shampoo and body wash. Happy Cappy is the first OTC (Over The Counter) shampoo and body wash made specifically for children of all ages with active ingredient, pyrithione zinc, which has been proven safe and effective for many decades for relief of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. It also contains the natural ingredient Licorice Root Extract to help soothe redness behind ears, under armpits, and in neck folds. Happy Cappy’s gentle, fragrance free, dermatologist tested, dye free, alcohol free, paraben free, sulfate free, BPA free, and gluten free formula eliminates flaking while still leaving the skin and hair soft and smooth. Happy Cappy is cruelty free and vegan. Some people may see results in as few as one or two washes. However, most will see significant improvement after 1 to 2 weeks of use. People with thick scale build up, should consider leaving the shampoo on for 1-2 minutes before rinsing. People in this latter category should start to see results in 2-3 weeks. Once the scaling and flaking is under control, we suggest tapering use to 2-3 times per week. Use of a cradle cap brush is unnecessary.

Holy Grail item for Malassezia

I use a combination of this shampoo and Nizoral for Malassezia (fungal acne). Malassezia is a fungus that lives on everyone's skin, but for some of us it causes things like seborrheic dermatitis (red, itchy, cracked skin), pityriasis versicolor (a fungal infection that can change the color of your skin), dandruff (very common), and Pimple-like rashes with tiny white heads that itch like Dickens on the face, chest, and back. Most facial or body care products (shampoos, soaps, cleansers, lotions…

UPDATE: I am an adult with seborrheic dermatitis/acne fungus

4/17/19 switch with. I had severe breakouts from Ketoconzaole shampoo, after I started using this shampoo the breakout went away. I gently lather it up and apply it to my face and leave it on my body every night in the shower. If left on for too long, it starts to tingle a little and sometimes causes a slight redness, but this disappears in the morning. Regarding my scalp I wash my hair every few days and it works well, sometimes I get hard build up due to my SD and as this is a good soft…

Works but has some questionable ingredients

So obviously Revane didn't like my first review and didn't post it. The only thing I can think of is that they didn't like that I posted non-Revain links to information about the two ingredients that bother me, phenoxyethanol and cocamidopropylhydroxysultaine. So here's my revised review: I got random white flakes in my hair and after a few tries, this was the only thing that worked. It didn't eliminate my dandruff 100% but it reduced it significantly. Unfortunately, when I bought it, I spent…
