Nice cheap wall hanger for light weight items

I have used this product to hang 8x10 pictures. There are no instructions included with the product which is disappointing as it is really difficult. Finally figured out that glue needs to be licked or filled with water. Simple, effective6, not aesthetically pleasing.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • So far so good

regular hangers are good for hardware

After reading the reviews I decided not to take the risk of self-adhesive and used a glue gun to attach the hanger to a small tray for hanging on the wall. So far, so good. However, the holes on the hangers are too small for a standard picture hanging hook. You only need to use a small nail to hang it.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • A little wrinkled

They work very well. Previous reviewers have said there is.

They work very well. Previous reviewers have said there is no glue, but there is. You will need to wet the backing and then rub your finger over it a little to activate the glue. Place it on the item you want to hang and let it dry for 24 hours before hanging.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Didn't work for fittings

Not even a hint of glue. It would not stick to paper. I moistened with a sponge (soaked in water). Not too much water. I hoped they would be the same as the ones I bought in the 80's. The old ones worked like magic. I'll try the command strips. I would use a regular picture hanger but it doesn't work for what I want to hang.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Working speed

Just what I need

I needed a replacement for an old adhesive hanger that I had for decades that finally fell off. The product itself did not come with any instructions for use. Luckily, I followed another reviewer's recommendation and wet it thoroughly, then left it on the back of the item I was planning to rehang. a day before trying to hang. It worked like a charm.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Not as good as it used to be but quite functional

The older product (40-50 years ago) had a sticker on either side of the hanging tongue which gave good grip. The modern version only has an adhesive mount on one side of the bracket. My solution is to use 2 ooks by gluing two hanger tabs (with holes) together with tape facing the same direction opposite the hanger tab. So you have hanging loops with two bushings taped together with mounting tape running on either side of the hanging loop to distribute the weight of the object between them.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Exactly what I need

I needed to replace an old adhesive eyelet I had for decades that eventually fell off. The product itself did not come with any instructions for use. Luckily I followed another reviewer's recommendation and wet it thoroughly and then left it on the back of the item I was planning to re-hang. a day before trying to hang. It worked like a charm.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

overpriced, poor adhesion

expensive junk; each hanger costs over a dollar. But I really needed two of these to put a framed photo on the back. I also put Gorilla Tape on the hangers for extra adhesion. The photo hung for about an hour before the roar announced what I was afraid of - hangers - junk! (Luckily the photo is fine.)

Pros
  • great design
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

On the old product (40-50 years ago) the sticker had a hanging tab on both sides which was good support . The modern version only has an adhesive mount on one side of the bracket. Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
