As other reviews have noted, the only downside is that the mirror doesn't fold flat against the wall. It looks like a real design oversight.

Love the Mirror! Magnification is perfect and lighting. Exactly what I was looking for and I'm now considering getting another one for the guest bathroom. Good quality.

I ordered this mirror and when my electrician went to install it it didn't light up. The return has expired so I'm stuck with a mirror that doesn't work. Not worth the money. DO NOT BUY THIS MIRROR.

What a beautiful and useful addition to our bathroom. He's perfect in every way. The man said it was easy to install. This mirror is much more comfortable to use than constantly adjusting my previous standing vanity mirror. I highly recommend this mirror.

Overall I found the quality satisfactory. However, I repainted it to get rid of the gold streaks on the pen. My only downside was that the mounting plate used between the lamp and socket is very flimsy. It will warp and was never intended to be wall mounted. I ended up using a window seal around the edge to stop the wobbling.

This is not an oiled bronze, it is black with very poorly painted gold edges. I have never seen such a ridiculous fake on a product. Sell a black mirror, do not sell a bronze mirror rubbed with faux oil. It's not bronze at all. Do you know that bronze is not just a color but a real material? I returned this item so I have no idea how effective it is. I suppose it's cheap, as is that fake "Bronze".

Bought this mirror for my wife, she loves it, looks great, problem was with installation, mirror body is connected to a plate, on which it is fixed to the wall with two anchor bolts, the body of the mirror is quite heavy. Once connected to the plate, the mirror does not lie flat against the wall, due to the weight there was a concern that it might tear the plate off the wall after daily use. I used 4 more lag screws to attach the panel to the wall, now the mirror sits snugly against the wall…

This is a beautiful mirror and finish that pairs best with antique bronze bathroom fixtures. Installation was easy. BUT after installation I didn't like that the mounting base itself didn't meet the requirements. I attached the base plate securely to the wall using three drywall anchors and a stud screw, the weak point is how the mounting plate attaches to the base of the light fixture. After using a wall mirror at a resort I decided I had to have one at home. Choices were fairly limited in the sense that I wanted a WIRED, oiled bronze, illuminated, with as much magnification as I could get and with as large a mirror as possible. This is the model that best fits my criteria and has received good reviews. I am pleased! My husband (fairly skilled) installed it with no difficulty. It's amazing how much better this is than pulling out my old mirror that's sitting on the counter…

Bought this mirror for my wife after she used it at a hotel. The lighting in our home bathroom is not the best as we use vintage Edison type light bulbs. She likes the mirror and the lighting is adjustable so it's not overwhelming. Installation is easy for those who are even a little crafty. (FYI) The mirror is quite heavy, so you'll need to attach the mount to the wall stud or use heavy drywall anchors (self-drilling or similar). I would not recommend using the supplied anchors.
