Harry Potter Marauders Tapestry Blanket Review

Bought this Harry Potter blanket as a gift and the recipient loved it. She immediately started showing all the locations on the comprehensive map. This is sure to provide months of fun and also makes a good blanket to keep you warm on a cold night.

The only reason to buy this is nostalgia. If you intend to use it as a throw or even hang it up you will be very disappointed. The quality is terrible. The real material is very rough and scratchy. The colors aren't what they should be either. For example, maroon looks light pink or light red up close. I would be embarrassed if this was on display in my home for someone to attempt to use in my home or give away. As a big HP fan, I'm very disappointed.

The print is clear and looks very nice. This is a nice addition to my bed. A blanket isn't the softest thing in the world, but I'm okay with that. I feel warm and comfortable just lying on my bed or on my shoulders. It's not very heavy, so it doesn't choke me. However, I only gave four stars because the weave is quite loose so a fingernail or something small can very easily snag the thread and pull on it, causing the thread to come loose. I wasn't sure about this product after reading the reviews. But at a price of $20 (yes!). I decided to take a chance. So it looks like it will fall apart easily.
