Excellent case but the pencil doesn't charge. I have to take a razor blade and cut a strip of plastic to make contact with the charging area. Very annoying but other than that it's a super fitting case that sticks to it easily but isn't sticky. I have to say good grip.

Wireless charging for Apple Pencil does not work with iPad Pro 2021, despite product images deceptively suggesting. My original review that pointed this out has disappeared and has been replaced by multiple 5 star reviews.

There is a notch built into the right side of the case to allow the pencil to magnetically stick to the side of the iPad. It's too thick to charge a pencil, though, so you'll need to remove the case if you really want to charge your pencil (which you probably will if you use one). This suitcase made a brief stop at my apartment on the way from the Revain warehouse to the Dumpster.

The material is very soft, there are sweat stains on the back of the iPad and it has started to stretch at the edges, causing the case to come loose

Pros: extra corner space, slightly raised edge to protect camera, accessible USB-C port, better volume and response to pressing the power switch. Cons: Misrepresentation of the Apple Pencil - The Apple Pencil will NOT connect to the case or charge. The Apple Pencil is still sticky due to the magnet, but will not charge with this case or pair with a 2021 iPad Pro. It would be 5 stars if it charged the Apple Pencil with a case as advertised. But it is not…. That's unfortunate.

It was *almost* a really good case. The problem is the cutouts around the 4 speakers. Ultra-thin strips with no rigidity - when gripped, these areas will slip out and the case will begin to detach. Instead of gaping holes, they should have been solid with small holes like in the old Apple cases. I don't recommend it as I'll have to replace it if something better comes out.

I was concerned it's for older (and thinner) 12.9-inch iPads, but it fits the 2021 model well, except the long edges of the case are curved because the fit is loose at those edges.
