After final assembly; The headlight adjuster rod is approximately 2 inches shorter. The rod should be sticking out at the top so the adjustment tool can be used. Right now I'm thinking about pulling the whole thing out to see if I can adjust the stem on the old set. it's a pain

Easy installation, looks better than factory. The only problem is that the aftermarket adjustment screws aren't standard size and don't have quite the same setting as the factory, but I was able to get them close enough to pass Virginia's state inspection.

Fits perfectly on my 2000 Ford Explorer. As other people have mentioned, I didn't use the flimsy fitting pieces that came with it, I took my old ones off and glued them on. The old ones were much more powerful and still worked well with the new headlights. I had to fine tune the adjustment and that required a special tool to access the horizontal hex bolt. The only problem is now, otherwise my car will look even older!

The old (original) lenses on our 1999 Explorers were yellow and cloudy so we decided to replace them with these lenses. The new lenses fit perfectly and look fantastic. They not only give the car a more modern look, but also significantly improve the illumination. Despite the easy installation, I recommend YouTube for installation instructions (lenses do not come with instructions).
