Great jacket! This jacket is as good as it gets. Warm, comfortable and allows you to move perfectly. Don't get me wrong it's a little pricey but it's a great jacket and very well made.

I finally made it and bought myself a nice jacket. Worked great and not bulky. I skied in a blizzard when it was below freezing and it worked out great. I stayed warm the whole time. Then he breathes comfortably even on good days. I highly recommend this jacket.

I returned the medium yellow Alpha 3 and bought the blue large Alpha 3. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh 172 pounds. Day and I don't understand why the HH Alpha 3 doesn't last as long. The jacket is warm when it's cold outside and not too warm for spring skiing.

This is a replacement for my old NorthFace. My NorthFace has held up well, but this new HH jacket has many new nice touches. Pockets for ski pass, phone, wallet, goggles, gloves. Detachable hood, powder skirt and I don't know what to call those sleeved things. It's not super warm, but I think it's made for layering. Seems to fit the size. Happy with the seller and the product.

I haven't tried this jacket but I don't think I've ever had an insulated ski jacket that fits so well without restricting movement. This jacket is described as being neatly tailored compared to the relaxed/roomy fit of some of its siblings. At 5ft 11"/220lbs I usually need to go up a size but not here as XL is perfect for me. Not too fluffy or voluminous despite Primaloft insulation. I wear 17.5 34/35 in men's shirts and the jacket and sleeve length were great too. The price doesn't bite…

Update: I emailed Helly Hansen customer service and they promptly replaced the coat. The whole round lasted only a few days. The coat itself is great. I'm 6ft 1in, 200lbs, athletic and Large fits me perfectly. The underarms are a bit tight but still great for a mid-layer sweater. Will be updated again after this weekend's use in the mountains. I bought this jacket for a trip to Wisconsin and read both good and bad reviews. But when I got it, I knew I made the right decision. It's incredibly comfortable and well balanced.
