🧘 Hem Precious Chandan: 120 Sticks Box - Pure Fragrance for Relaxation and Meditation Review

I love the smell of this incense. It reminds me of incense sticks I bought in Tibet a few years ago and is great for meditating or just relaxing.

It makes a nice intriguing smoke but smells like an overwhelming cheap perfume. Maybe they'll soften after being outside (in the rain) for a week, but damn, the smell lingers on your hands when you touch them. I've been thinking about selling them at a flea market, but I don't want that smell to be everywhere, even for a day. Throw it in the trash.

The best Chardan (better than real sandalwood). Very musky, no hint of floral, chemical, spicy, masculine, very nice scent! Note: The color of the packaging is maroon/reddish - not brown. Chandan is a sandalwood scent, but this incense is not that simple. There is nothing like it. It calms, cleans, refreshingly cool, like a breath of fresh air. I love lighting this wand after a general house clean and always makes me feel very relaxed. No other incense comes close to perfection for me - Nag Champa may be overwhelming and sweet, but Chandan just gently pervades the home.

Bought less than 2 months ago. I burned a few sticks until I had to pull all the sticks out from behind the hole at the other end. That's when I discovered white mold on most of the sticks in all the packs. I work in the health and pulmonary fields. Even if there is mold on a stick, it must not be burned since it has touched the others. I am very disappointed as I grew up burning incense and have purchased thousands of incense sticks throughout New York and Boston. It is too late to return this

Before I bought this incense stick I had never heard of it. And unlike many aromatic incense sticks with the names of emotions, weather conditions, or geographic locations (where you have NO idea what the baseline should be), this is a REAL smell. Definitely! Everyone who comes to my house always says that it smells so good in here. I love the cooling effect of the smoke - maybe it's all in my head but it's amazing. The scent is like an old bookshop or an oriental market and leaves an indelible aura for hours. When you meditate, it's good to burn during the session. It has a nice grounding/centring effect :) Since I burn a lot, I don't need cologne! My clothes take on a pleasant, lingering scent and people always ask me what I'm wearing.

Bought for $5.95 with Prime shipping, that's a great deal for me considering the quality of this incense. At under $0.05 per stick, you really can't go wrong. Before I bought this I bought some incense sticks at a local store which were poor quality and I paid $0.10 per stick. Speaking of quality, these incense sticks are great.
