I didn't expect something like this. The item description says you get a 13" laptop sleeve and that there are pockets. No. All it is is a polyester sleeve with a thin baffle inside. NO SLEEVE. A POCKET IS A SLEEVE. There aren't any either Pockets The back of the case has some padding but that's about it, it doesn't protect your laptop from bumps or scratches from all the other items you put in it.

Love love love this backpack! I was looking for something special for travel - I wanted a bag with no external zip pockets that might lure a sophisticated pickpocket during our vacation abroad. This is the perfect bag for that purpose. I wish it had a smaller internal pocket, but I read the reviews and bought a small zippered canvas pocket to put in a large pocket in the backpack (to store electronics, chargers, lip balm, wallet, etc.).

When I first saw it online I really liked it and decided to order it. Now that I have it, everything is fine. There is no divider in the backpack, except for a compartment for a laptop or tablet. So basically everything else needs to be thrown in a backpack. No cutout to store a pen or phone. Also, it didn't offer enough support for my back after a day around town with a small laptop, which is ironic for a backpack. It's expensive for what you pay for. Overall it just looks beautiful to me.
