Good sump, installation isn't too bad but removing the cross member is a bit tricky. That was the hardest part. I think you want a 19mm 1/2" socket and the longest bit you can get.

Changed oil pressure, a bit pricey but worth it compared to the factory pan which is quite thin and holds half a liter of dirty oil. Also added is a Donaldson full-flow, no-bypass oil filter.

First, SIZ produces quality parts. So I had a little problem with the pan. The oil sensor protrusions were uneven. I called SIS directly. They were very helpful and took care of the problem very quickly. Let's be clear that this problem was very unusual. Personal protective equipment of the highest quality and I still use it.

This is a great upgrade for my Duramax 6.6 LBZ. Another liter fits. If you choose a PSA oil filter, that's another extra liter for a total of 12 liters. The oil pressure will look low on your gauge, but don't worry, that's normal for the extra power. Overall a great sump. Installation is easy with the right tools. And it looks great under your truck.

Absolutely amazing product, I'm so upset! If you have a forklift think twice before you buy one, no matter how far you raise the engine and transmission you will not be able to install this pan between the lift kit and the oil pan. You'll need to pull out the transmission or access an extra 2 1/2 inches of clearance somewhere.

is MUCH better than the stock oil pan. It would be better if the floor sloped towards the drain plug and the drain plug was shifted two inches to the left. Please note that a hex wrench, not a head, is required to install the included screws. As long as you have a set of allen keys and an extension cord, you're fine.
