Hiker Dimmer Hollywood Vanity Makeup Review

Received as a gift for my wife on Mother's Day. Overall a very good buy except for a small chip on the mirror right out of the box. For a nearly $200 vanity mirror, this is unacceptable. I'm willing to change my rating if the company wants to contact me for support. Many Thanks

This mirror is awful. The mirror smelled burned and a few weeks later the mirror caught fire because you were turning the light on and off. Firefighters had to remove the mirror and they said there were wiring issues in the mirror. I would advise against buying it.

I listened to the reviews and bought other bulbs to replace the ones in the kit and I'm so glad I did. The mirror itself is very large and much cheaper than most dressing tables. It fits perfectly on my table. You can tell this isn't the best mirror but I always keep it clean and it works great. So glad I bought this!

Years later we are trying to buy a lightbulb to replace this makeup mirror but we can't figure out what kind of lamp it is. It says FOSHAN 40W FSL, but the base doesn't match anything we're looking at. I'm trying to find help, but spare parts aren't helping me. Anyone have any ideas? Daughter loves it and we ordered her a 2 piece acrylic cosmetic storage box. Great makeup mirror!

Based on some other reviews I was concerned that this product would arrive safely. And so it was. I took the advice of another reviewer and installed 40W dimmable LED daylight bulbs. They work great. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of packaging for the goods. The description says there is a socket on the front panel (opposite the power button). Doesn't look like a regular outlet. Does anyone know if this is a regular outlet that I can plug my hair dryer into?

I received this vanity mirror and I like it, it's the perfect size. The bulbs get hot, so I replaced them with LEDG14 LED E26 with a 4W base (comparable to 40W) from the LVWIT brand. I love these bulbs more than the original ones that come with them. I'm deducting a star because I had to return the dressing table as it had a crack at the bottom. This arrived well packaged and is perfect for my needs! All the glamor of the more expensive branded vanity mirrors at a fraction of the cost. One piece of advice: the bulbs that come with it are ABSOLUTELY rubbish - they give off the MOST yellow light! Do yourself a favor and buy 12 dimmable 40 watt daylight bulbs!
