VERY STRONG. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR HEAVY ITEMS

Repeat buyers. Very, very strong and stable. thick metal. Difficult. Very easy to use and very easy to remove. Installation or removal takes less than 10 seconds.

Pros
  • Picture hanger
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Probably the best solution for very heavy mirrors

Finally there is a solution for very heavy objects like mirrors with relatively weak walls. This can work just as well for large paintings with heavy frames (and/or glass for watercolors). I've used three-nail hooks in the past, but this one is much stronger (albeit relatively expensive).

Pros
  • Hardware
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Use of hanging heavy paintings/mirrors with minimal wall damage.

I used two of these hangers (one on each side) of a large, round, heavy mirror in my dining room. I have used these hooks in other homes and when you take them off it's easy to patch up any remaining small holes. Most hangers for 150+lbs. Leave large holes in the drywall if you need to move the mirror later. They are more expensive than most hooks but I think they are really good quality metal and worth the price. In my experience, Hillman makes quality products.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
