Based on our own experience, this counter height stool fell far short of our expectations. Though the velvet fabric is luxurious and appears high-end, the seat cushion isn't nearly as comfortable as we imagined. Additionally, the stool is designed to look like a more expensive product than it actually is, which is misleading. Overall, we wouldn't recommend this stool for anyone looking for a modern, durable product.

Edit: It's only been a few months and they can't stand it. The screws continue to loosen, we tighten them, sit down and they are loosened again. Sometimes they even fall off. They also tremble as if you could move them back and forth and notice that they are of poor quality. I bought 2 of these chairs. They came separately so I could see one of them was used or returned. I wanted to add photos and give a review because I bought them blindly hoping they are great. I would say this is a great example of how you get what you pay for. They are beautiful but upon closer inspection the fabric looks cheap. For this price range I'm very satisfied, I like to change and refresh my setup often which means I don't have to spend a lot on items like this.
