Replaced the battered gold mirror with a clean new pink mirror, everything is fine. Good looks but more importantly how good the vision with the new visor showed how bad my old one really was. Within 6-7 months the mirror thread will start to detach from the visor. I do not recommend buying this product. It is erased every time the helmet is touched, and even in those places that have never been touched. It was really nice for the first few months. I can barely see out of my helmet and will have to resort to a standard clear visor. Please stick with the mirrorless finish.

Bought the rainbow shade and was skeptical that it might be, I don't know, too light, but the transition is so subtle it's almost described as an 'oil can' should. to begin toning. Super happy with it. Works well in both intense and low light conditions. Works well with my CL-17, the main issue is the gap above the brow hole, but works great. Couldn't be happier. I also had pinlock holes preinstalled.

While the visor is definitely darker than the original visor that came with my fiance's HJC IS-16, it is not a 100% "blacked out" visor. For example, at the right angle you can still see the facial features. Luckily her helmet has an internal sun visor so she can slide it off when it's too bright outside and feel a lot more comfortable. I would have made such an assumption and been wrong (it could be a 50% shading). It fits perfectly with the helmet and otherwise looks great.

After just a few uses the tint on my visor started to peel off in places. Washed with water only, no chemicals. I contacted HJC to ask if it was under warranty but there was no response from them. I will not buy any more HJC product. EDIT: The visor fits perfectly and looks great. In addition, it scratches easily, the tint on the windshield is destroyed immediately when wiping Rain X.
