I have read and looked at reviews on this product that said it runs large and you should get a size S/M . But if you have slightly larger biceps than the average person, don't go for the small/medium. I've done this and it's very uncomfortable for my biceps, but other than that it's fine.

I think I've used them 7 times. They usually play 4-5 hours each time. Wear them under a tank top and just a t-shirt and they hold up great. Throw them in the washing machine, no problem, and the padding is good for slipping or just playing in the woods and toasting. They're pretty forgiving of the size, but if you have big biceps, go for the big ones.

I use these pads for airsoft, the pads are made for paintball and I don't feel the bullets hitting my arms with them. It's kind of a double edged sword if I'm paying attention they are great, I can hear and see BBs hitting the pads; However, if I'm not careful, it would be very easy to accidentally ignore all hits and not name them.
