👜 Hobo Vintage Mara Crossbody Purse Review

I love this bag! I bought this for those days when you go shopping and don't want to lug around a large purse. I took it on a recent trip to Alaska and it was perfect. It easily holds my iPhone, driver's license and credit cards, gum, keys and money. The leather gets softer the more I use it. The best part was the price. I found this bag at Dillard's for over $100.00. I paid less than $70 with Revain. Another great Revain purchase!

I started wearing the Mara when I injured my back and needed a smaller, lighter bag. Threw away the wallet. I use this as a wallet plus purchase. Pockets are used for credit cards and ID cards. Cell phone fits in back pocket. Bottom zip holds loose change. Top zip for longer items that I want to keep private. It fits a Compact Filofax, handkerchiefs, various receipts and handkerchiefs. Somehow there is still room for lip gloss. I still don't look overweight, but my back is happy.

This bag is a great size and well designed inner pockets. I love the color but dark clothes will rub off. The main downside is that the strap is extra long and limited in its adjustments. It's also a stiff leather that stayed bent where it was originally attached, causing the end of the strap to stick out uncomfortably. I've had the handbag on for a week and it's still stiff. I'll probably take it to a tailor to have it trimmed.

Love the color and style of the bag; However, the bracelet was damaged before it was shipped to me. I needed the bag when it arrived so I kept it. My paper white Kindle fits in perfectly, a big plus as I never leave the house without the paper white. Eventually I'll have to have the belt repaired; meanwhile I have done a not quite satisfactory "home patch" job. They no longer offer a magenta bag so I couldn't send it back for an exchange.

I love this hobo bag. I only received it 2 days ago, so I can't really say anything about durability yet. I have several of the smaller hobo bags and am very impressed with all of them! This has a very nice color and is not too shiny. It contains everything I need - wallet hobo trifold (of which I have 3!), lipstick, sunglasses, keys and much more! This is my 4th hobo bag so I expect good quality from them. The first problem was that I had to order 4 different bags to find the right color as the colors were not accurately represented in the photos. When I found the right red I was excited as I loved all of the pockets in this purse. I've had this wallet for 2 months now and it looks like I drove my truck over it. I had this tramp Mara in red and I was thrilled! It's just the right size and will last forever. When I saw it in black with the silver hardware and had to have a new Mara. The leather is great quality and feels very soft but durable. The inner fabric is fun but not a crazy print and seems to be a good quality that will last a while. And the combination of zipped and open pockets of different sizes (inside and outside) is fabulous. There's even one that's great for my pen and pencil and fits upright in this bag.
