Annoyingly, you can only place the ring when it's facing a certain direction. And if you can't put it down, it won't stick to the Autoclip. I love the auto clip and it holds onto the vent very well. The ring is not round, I didn't expect it to be such a big problem. It's also quite small and awkward to rotate, making the phone EXTREMELY awkward to use.
