We bought another stool which turned out to be little more than a box so we found this replacement. It's much stronger, the upper is softer, better finished and more comfortable. It doesn't smell like the first one. I'm glad it's the best quality product and looks good to match the chair we had.

Much better than I expected and just as I hoped. The top easily detaches to access storage space that is true to size. This was bought so my mother could hold her legs. It's light enough to be kicked off (tiles on the floor) but strong enough to sit on. The padding is comfortable, I don't see any flaws. The wooden legs are simply screwed to the floor by hand.

Liked the square shape and size, looks like a stool, not a coffee table. White linen brings a rough yet sophisticated natural texture to a living room dominated by plush surfaces. Inside there is enough space for skeins of yarn for all my current projects. The build quality is not family owned but looks like it will last for many years.
