Durable but leaves no mark

My brother uses it for work. He said it worked perfectly, it was soft enough not to leave marks, strong enough to drive nails into the material he was using.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Legacy model

They are just right for crafts with small nails.

If you need a small craft hammer, this hammer is great. No problem with small wood projects or small nails. I will buy more if needed.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Concealable

It works out? No - Hand tool

The hammer head handle hole is off center and the handle is angled. "The other bad reviews were correct. I thought, well, how bad can a Kanhammer be. The parts that are screwed on the head are also stripped. Pretty bad.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Appearance

Attention buyers - I do not recommend the product

Poor design, the handle is not screwed into the hammer head. It may have been glued. A few hits and he flew away. Bad design and pretty bad construction. Product delivered on Friday and broke on Sunday after first use. Buyers beware.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • flimsy

Good thing I only have to knock with this hammer!

The soft hammer surface came off during shipping but is easy to put back on. Very sloppy design, drops of glue dripping from the handle. This hammer isn't strong, but I use it for light tapping - nothing more. For that it works fine. If you need something more substantial, find another tool.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • No

Task partially completed

The hammer is just about ok. I used it to stick a skin piercing tool in my D-ring pouch. The hammer was too light to fully penetrate the skin with the tool so I had to use a regular hammer to finish the job. This may work for other projects, but I'll have to try a different hammer next time.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • There are defects

Poorly made - broken on arrival

I took the risk of buying this cheaper item as it was supposed to be a rarely used item for me. When he arrived, the head was ripped off the handle. There was no clasp at all to hold it, and no indication there ever had been one. This may be a poor quality control issue and other samples of this item may be fine, but this one was a poor measure.

Pros
  • Dual heads, one rubber, one nylon
Cons
  • I don't remember

Very bad processing.

Bought this to have on hand for jobs that required a small rubber mallet. This hammer looked good as it is the right size and has interchangeable hard and soft sides. I think it will probably be ok. Only the quality is very bad. Poor quality examples: The head is slightly tilted. It's not perpendicular to the handle. The black ring between the head and the handle slides up and down and just looks cheap and useless. The clear yellow tip was already chipped upon arrival. Both tips don't sit well…

Pros
  • Used for jewelry, leather goods, woodworking, etc.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
