Don't worry! I bought one, downloaded the files and was very happy. Decided to order another one as I still had a few files. I opened the first one I bought to reorganize and boom! The first box I bought was already broken. The metal "structure" inside that the folders hang from is cheaply made. It broke at the weld and was already bent from the weight of the files. Too lazy to go back. I'm guessing it will be stacked files, not hanging files.

Attractive folders with metal cross braces for hanging folders are hard to find. These boxes look good enough that just seeing them in a room makes me feel good. I have 5 of these on the shelves in my home office. They are sturdy and can hold both letter and legal sized folders depending on how you rotate them. The espresso is a beautiful deep, rich brown that blends well with the main brown or black in the room. It's nice to have covers to create a consistent look without showing the files…

Please note that this box does not have a hard bottom. Woven bottom, like everything else, with a metal frame. Therefore, if you put heavy objects in the box, they can sag between the frames. I put it under my desk to store various personal items that I don't want to clutter up in my office and it works great for that. I can fit a whole case of small water bottles in it. I've only had this file box for a few months. The box itself is pretty flimsy, just a wicker. I filled it less than halfway with binders and the rods holding the hanging binders started sagging after a few weeks and broke in less than two months. I only do the filing once a month so it doesn't break from overuse. I guess now I have a nice but very flimsy box. I suggest if you buy it you don't intend to use it as a filing box. Now it will be my box for hats, gloves and scarves.

This was the third of these boxes I've ordered to keep my files. Shortly after receiving and running the first two boxes, I moved to a different state and both boxes broke their inner frame during the move. In both cases, one of the metal rods holding the folders broke. I was upset that this was happening, but put it down to the mistreatment of the movers.
