They have a very small opening. They wouldn't fit on my shower rail or even in my closet on my clothes rail. The opening of the larger hook is only about 1 inch.

I was building a decorative trellis fence in my garden and I needed a way to hang murals from the front without damaging the tree. These curtain hooks worked great. The large side fits over the wooden slats without damaging them and I used the small side to attach the wall art. Hooks are designed to get wet, so they should be fairly strong on the outside.

We use these to hang iron skillet/pans from a solid wood dowel in our open closet. Works for our purpose. We bend enough to fit the dowel and twist the smaller ring so the pots hang properly. I broke a few hooks by bending the smaller part, but I cautiously kept trying. I used a thick cotton glove over black before using pliers to bend; otherwise they will all be scratched.

Very happy with these shower curtain hooks. They are made of durable metal and glide smoothly over my stainless steel shower rod. I really like the look of them and I think they are a huge improvement over the stock rings. My only complaint is that the gap in the big hook is inconsistent. One was too wide and could fall off the shower rod. However, you can twist it harder with a strong grip.

I've read some reviews that they don't fit the standard curtain rod so I was nervous as I think mine is a little thicker than the standard curtain rod. They fit well. It took very little effort to undo the loop to hook it onto the crossbar. No more than I would with any other crochet work. You don't want them to fall. I don't normally write reviews, but I thought this $10 purchase deserved a little more credit than other reviewers. Works what I need it for. Holds a shower curtain.

I work in a group home. My male client goes through shower curtain hooks faster than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. He thinks his shower curtain is the barn door on his farm, so it gets pulled often! 😂 He hasn't broken one yet! So they are durable and strong. He can also easily hang up his barn door himself. I highly recommend it. However, they are easy to unhook so sometimes we have to backtrack a few loops back to the hooks, but that's better than constantly buying…

I had the same molded shower hooks I bought from Target but they were rusty. This shape makes it very easy to take the shower curtain off and put it on to wash it, so I wanted to have the same style. They definitely work, but they're smaller than others (and some in the set were smaller than others). I was able to attach it to my shower rod because it is an adjustable/retractable rod and a half smaller, but if your shower rod is even slightly larger than average you probably don't want it…

You look good. We bought them and they were easy to install. The big problem is that they stick to each other. We prepared to buy another style because this is a real problem. I came up with the brilliant idea of changing the direction of the hooks. It looks a little strange, but now they don't jam and get stuck. Would give them a higher rating for 2 reasons.
