Lack of quality: equestrian

Not suitable for everyday use, poorly made and looks ridiculous. The zipper is at the back of the head. These will be returned. Maybe they're good for your young beginner, but if you're going to a pro class, don't wear them.

Pros
  • ideal for a small house
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Will fall apart in a few weeks

We've only been using them for a few weeks (we ride about 2-3 times a week) and they're already falling apart. The faux leather is worn and there are now holes on both cups. You're better off spending more money on a higher quality half as it won't last you very long.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Very expensive

Pleasantly surprised!

As a long time rider and someone who has worn Konigs for the last 20 years I was a bit hesitant to order them. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. I need them until I get new boots and they work great! They fit me surprisingly well and the quality is better than I expected. They cost $45 but you get more than you paid for!

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Update available

Made cheap. Rather invest a little more in something permanent.

These were the cheapest products I have ever received. They weren't even close in size, even left to right. There was a big difference in size. It looks like they will only last a couple of rides and the underfoot and heel strap was already too big and I could see it snagging slightly on a tug causing a fall.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Negligible repairability

If you find one size fits you, buy one size up!

Too narrow! If you think you're one size bigger, take the next size up! Luckily they stretch but the trim doesn't and I have a problem with that. It's embarrassing to put them on because they zip up the back. So I tried to zip up the front and turn them inside out, but I almost broke the zip. Otherwise I like the fabric. The large ones fit my very skinny teenager so he can use them if that means anything to you.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet
