They do their job but pick up radio interference

I use them on my Alesis electronic drums for the amp. They say they're shielded, but they pick up radio frequencies that I can barely hear unless I'm playing the drums. It's a little annoying, but I guess I can't complain too much about the price.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Some trouble

Great TRS for my amp pedal controller

The My Boss amp foot controller sits directly in front of my pedalboard, with the rest of the pedals behind it. Using the bent end of this cable from my pedal controller gives me more room to mount additional pedals. This cable seems durable and can last a long time. Just take a look.

Pros
  • AV accessories
Cons
  • Unusable features

Respectable. Does the job I need.

I use them for drum triggers. They work fine. I will update if problems arise over time. Overall I would say they are not high quality but you can tell from the picture and the fact that Hosa is not exactly known for it. So far, so good. They don't twist like good cables do. Simply fold them together using a twist binder. I wouldn't choose them if I was pumping an audio signal over a cable.

Pros
  • audio cable
Cons
  • old

I may have received a bad cable

I have a number of Hosa products and have always been happy with this brand. I'm not sure what happened here, but I had to give up this more expensive cable. I hooked it up between my BOSS Katana 100 MKII amp and the GA-FC foot controller and the radio stations played through my amp! I replaced it with a more expensive cable and that fixed the problem. It's pretty rare that I have this type of problem with a cable that carries a data signal rather than an audio signal. And also quite rare for…

Pros
  • Stereo jack cable
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Suitable for E-Drums

Wanted to find a better priced cable for my Roland V-Drum kit and they are just as good as the ones in the kit just a lot cheaper. Not all drums connect to a stereo cable, so you only need this version for drums with two triggers. Not sure about Roland, but my old Alesis set didn't work with a stereo cable all plugged into one trigger. They are nice and long to add extra cymbals and drums to the set. If you leave some slack compared to a stretched cable, they will last longer. I haven't noticed

Pros
  • Cables and Connections
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
