Great for my purposes

I didn't know if this would work for my needs but it works great. I bought a new Yamaha mixer that doesn't have a headphone jack. However, it has a left and a right monitor output. This device converts this output flawlessly into a working headphone jack. I knew what I wanted, but the device itself was very difficult to find. Go ahead and buy this and save yourself some time.

Pros
  • Annual trial
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Don't buy this. It's useless

The female end of this plug does not fit the 1/4" plug snugly. will result in the sound going through one ear very often. If you ONLY hold the cable at the correct angle, the sound is split into stereo, but that's not possible unless I have 20 minutes to route the cable exactly as I need to. .

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Frequency

Connector broke after a few uses

The product appeared to be well put together and initially worked well when set up. After two uses, however, the sound disappeared, leaving only a sporadic loud buzz (lost connection). When removing the cinch plug, the metal sleeve of the ferrule broke on one side and slipped into the socket. The receiver amplifier is brand new and I probably only plugged it in/unplugged it 3-4 times before it broke. It may be a one-off, but an indicator of quality.

Pros
  • Great workmanship
Cons
  • So far so good

Marriage out of the box of no return!

Attention buyers! This item is NON-RETURNABLE. First use straight out of the box. malfunction. Crackles, distorts and shifts the sound balance as if the cables were disconnected. Terrible! We are launching a professional system with high quality components. Due to the urgency and the situation, I chose this article. AS OTHERS REPORT. unreliable and defective! DO NOT assume you can come back just because it's available through PRIME. Ate this one!

Pros
  • Handsfree

A simple unit that does what I expect

I have the audio gear I need to take balanced 1/4" mono aux sends and wrap them with a 1/4" -To combine TRS cables to make an unbalanced 1/4" TRS stereo cable to the headphone amps. This does the trick. My outputs are balanced TRS 1/4" and I think this adapter combines the negative cable and the ground cable with the same cable, so the result remains positive. right positive and combined negative/ground. It works, I have stereo aux mixes!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

Don't waste money.

Don't be fooled by good looking, durable design. Right out of the box, this thing had a short on the TRS connector. I've only ever gotten sound from one channel when I've used it. I have to wiggle or twist the plug to get stereo sound, and even then I HOPE the connection doesn't move an inch or I'll lose the sound. This is unacceptable even in a home studio where nothing is really moving. And yes, I've tried several devices, the problem is definitely in this splitter.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crumpled

Works in audio cables

That's it: a 1/4" TRS jack split into two 1/4" mono channel pins. Not sure what all the complaints are about, specifically the size and stiffness. It's the size, it feels solid and strong. No problems with loose connections as my 1/4" line-in cables literally snap into place. As well as the two mono wires at the other end of the splitter. I've had cheap guitar cables in the past that didn't make a solid connection as some reviews describe, but they were free and unbranded cables. This splitter…

My audio cable isn't working

I bought this cable to combine the left and right outputs of my keyboard into a single signal to be sent to a powered speaker. It worked with headphones and recorder, but centered notes sounded strange with the speaker, only left or right was fine, and bass was lacking. It only worked with a 3.5mm to XLR cable with an adapter. I tried 3 other cables, both XLR and 1/4 male, and none worked. They were all trs so that couldn't be a problem and i tried ts just in case but then of course i didn't…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not bad
