Bought this less than 30 days ago because my husband really wanted it. And I want to say that we love it. The lights are cool; but he screams like a metal banshee in kill mode. I like this thing but thought it was broken because I didn't know how to use it. The water flowing through the unit generates electricity to control the lights and thermostat. Low water flow causes indicators to flash. Adjust the shower head to increase the flow so it doesn't flicker. If you don't need a 'water saving' showerhead, remove the gray plug from the gray plastic connector attached to the water line coming out of the wall. I used pliers, but small pliers can work. I followed all the instructions and there was no leak from any of the seals, but the slow leak seemed to be coming from the inside of the handle of the unit itself.
