Can't rate performance as I've only had it for about 24 hours. Looks good but the shovel it came with arrived broken. The handle has been separated from the scoop/cup portion. It's just spot welding. I tried to glue the gorilla but to no avail. Not a total loss, I will use it for tea bags and buy another brand of coffee.

When I received this tin, I washed it first. I closed the lid and turned it upside down. To my dismay it is not waterproof as you can see in the video. If it's not waterproof, it's not airtight. I grind coffee for several days at a time and want something that will keep it as fresh as possible. It's not like this. I was hoping this would be an improvement over the coffee tin I was using. The coffee canister doesn't leak though, so it's a step down. It will be returned.

This canister works great and I love that the measuring spoon comes with a holster to carry around. Oh, my friends, the word "about" is used in a very broad sense of the word. It's closer to 40 ounces (I've attached a picture of a 16 ounce paper cup in the container for the scale) 😅 I'm definitely not upset about that and I understand that I really like its size now. But you can imagine my surprise when I opened the box and saw that it was slightly larger than advertised.

Not airtight at all. I used it for a week and the smell of the coffee I put in it filled my kitchen. I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee, not unused coffee grounds. It's cheap thin metal. When it is empty and the lid is open, it will fall down. Top too heavy.

The lid is not level due to the removable rubber pad being a tight fit where the lid latches, but the lid is slightly raised on the sides and back due to the rubber pad getting that not here or limit the print. The return shipping cost includes $11.95 postage!

Coffee stays fresh, easy to dose, stainless steel design looks good. I like it when my table is clean and I know exactly how many spoons I need for the coffee maker. However, I didn't find the date tracker that helpful because I don't keep my coffee for long.
