Description of Houseables Friction Abrasive Ladders Forklifts

LONG LASTING HOLD. Heavy-duty anti-slip tape with the strongest and longest lasting tape available in any setting. The waterproof exterior provides you with traction on the most slippery surfaces to prevent accidents and injuries. This tread can be installed on industrial staircases, airplane hangers, boats, homes, ramps, ladders, and more. WEATHERPROOF. The industrial strength adhesive base withstands the harshest weather and the heaviest foot traffic without peeling, wrinkling, tearing, or lifting. The sand-like 80-grid surface is UV protected to prevent fading and discoloration from constant sun exposure to ensure long lasting use. 80 grit coarse is considered heavy and rough, meaning this tough grit will keep you on your feet in tricky situations. EASY TO APPLY. To apply, simply position the tape to your liking, peel off the release liner, and apply firmly onto a clean, dry, and oil free surface. Its excellent wear resistance makes it ideal for indoor or outdoor use on ladders, steps, ramps, stairs, pool areas, and work zones. WON’T PEEL OR TEAR. Provides unparalleled friction in both industrial and commercial environments. Its low profile helps prevent the edges from curling so it can install securely onto even irregular surfaces. It can be easily cleaned and cut for custom fitting. WATCH YOUR STEP: Anticipate those potentially nasty falls. Protect your step by laying down this non-slip grip tape.

Highly Recommended - Protective Tape

Excellent overall. Adheres well and resists movement. Works great indoors or outdoors as long as it's warm enough. Lots in one roll and easy to apply. Great sand and gift for DIY enthusiasts. Good in the rain, but of course not in snow or ice. Ideal for any slippery steps like concrete bunk beds and RV stairs or wooden patio steps, stair steps like the ones that fold up and you use them to change lightbulbs or the ones that slip and you fall on the roof. Every step. I'm pretty sure it will hold

Pros
  • WILL NOT FLY OR TEAR. Provides unparalleled friction in industrial and commercial applications. Its low profile prevents edge curl, allowing it to be mounted securely even on uneven surfaces. It can be easily peeled off and trimmed for a custom fit.
Cons
  • Expensive

It's nice to have peace of mind for the price.

I bought this tape to make the wheelchair ramp less slippery for my elderly parents. This is a well-made tape - the non-slip surface is strong and durable. The only thing that bothered me was the quality of the glue. It seemed risky at first glance. I applied it to polyurethane wood. At first the tape stuck well. On the advice of a neighboring contractor, he hit him with a thermal gun immediately after application. A month has already passed and not a single strap has come off the outside ramp…

Pros
  • WATER RESISTANT. The industrial-strength adhesive backing withstands the harshest weather conditions and heaviest foot traffic without peeling, wrinkling, tearing or peeling. The 80 mesh sand surface is UV protected to prevent fading and discoloration from constant exposure to the sun, ensuring long-term use. The 80's is considered heavy and coarse, meaning this hard grit will keep you going in sticky situations.
Cons
  • weak

Adhesive peels off after one year

My initial opinion of this product was very positive. This has certainly prevented my elderly dog from slipping on the stairs for the past year. But about a month ago, 11 months after installation, I noticed that most of the strips were peeling off and curling up at the ends. My preparation was very good: I painted a concrete staircase with latex facade paint. The steps were thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to stripping. These are very flat steps with no texture. I used a roller to press each

Pros
  • EASY TO APPLY. To apply, simply position the tape as you wish, remove the protective film and apply firmly to a clean, dry and oil-free surface. Its superior wear resistance makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor use on stairs, steps, ramps, steps, swimming pools and work areas.
Cons
  • Little things
