💻 HP Ultra Slim Docking Station G2, Model D9Y32UT#ABA – Enhanced for Seamless Connectivity Review

Different pros: Reliable, compact, versatile. They have been working with us for several years now. None of them went out of order. Fits EliteBook G2 to G6 exactly. It's worthy. Cons: The power supply connector of the docking station is not suitable for laptops (except G2). This is not very convenient.

With its pros. Excellent docking station original the only thing that the connector goes out of use becomes irrelevant . the concept is interesting . bought not expensive Has cons: loses relevance no new laptops are produced with this connector

Product received and USB ports not working. There are 4 of these and I have tried several items. NOTHING!

A very handy way to use your laptop in the office when you are not away. Extremely helpful in keeping my desk tidy and making the most of space. Cables stay in place when you pull out your laptop and go.

This docking station works with my HP Probook 640 G4 but it is not the model number listed in the product name and the serial number was not found on the HP website. Photo of the back of the docking station that I received. I would have no problem if the product was advertised correctly. Revan determined.

Absolutely terrible. Bought this docking station and two HP monitors for home use. Monitor cables are not compatible. Two completely different plugins. Customer service is a terrible experience with Revain and HP. Spent over an hour on the phone between both companies and YET no one can answer or help.

I bought this dock because it had two DisplayPort outputs. I connected it to my Elitebook G6 and two of my LG 32UD59-B monitors. One monitor showed UHD 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60Hz while the other showed HD 1920 x 1080 interlaced. Unfortunately, this dock can only support one 4K monitor at a time. I was really hoping to avoid the Thunderbolt docks as I've had a lot of issues with them in the past. But nothing seems to work. This one returns.

Just two complaints: 1. Laptop USB ports (read: non-docking) are disabled after the computer is docked, which gives me problems as it blocks the wireless signal to the USB dongle. (I had to use a third-party USB hub to approximate it.) 2. The laptop's speakers stop working after docking. I don't have extra speakers; My current set is connected to my more powerful desktop.
