I have had this computer before and know it is a reliable unit, but this repaired computer arrived without a proper repair. No sound from speakers or headphone jack. I was very skeptical about buying a refurbished laptop. I needed the same laptop (for personal use) I have for work that I could easily switch between and work with my docking station. It was more than half the price of a new one and I was afraid it would be old and clunky. The truth is it looks better than my 1 year old work laptop. See update at the end. Buying a refurbished PC (desktop or laptop) can be risky. You never know if you might end up finding a hidden gem or an incompetently restored piece of junk. I bought about a dozen of these and quickly returned just over half. This laptop is by far the most completely refurbished PC I have purchased.
